Background & History
TIMTOS (Taipei International Machine Tool Show) was established in 1975 and is jointly organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI).
With more than 50 years of development, TIMTOS has become one of Asia’s major international machine tool exhibitions, bringing together manufacturers, international buyers, component suppliers, and industry professionals from around the world.
In 2027, TIMTOS will be held from March 2 to 6 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Halls 1 and 2. The exhibition will showcase machine tools, smart manufacturing technologies, and emerging manufacturing solutions, connecting Taiwan’s comprehensive machine tool supply chain with global markets.
